the night last nite and was terribly slick out today. Quite a bit of it melted down town but didn't melt much on the hills I told Clarence & Ila I would take them if we went. Dorothy is better & coming along O.K. I guess. Mrs Griesel brought in a nice dressed hen & a whole batch of noodles today. Isn't that nice of her? I guess Don's leg has been bothering him quite a bit lately. I guess the weather has something to do with it. The kids went to the picture show this afternoon. Donald Duck was on and they got a big kick out of it. I let them go on saturday, so Grandma can get a good rest. She seems to be taking the punishment real well. They mind her pretty good. Beatrice Utley had her baby. It was born day before yesterday. It was a boy & I'll bet Grandpa is all puffed up over it. Daleth Arnold was in today & said they hadn't heard from Dick for over a month. They think he might be in the Solomons. They are plenty worried. That was a nice letter from Martin wasn't it? I hope, as he says, you will really get up there. You certainly deserve it if anyone does. Well honey, I will take another look at the furnace and get to bed. Morning will come too soon. Do you have classes on Sat? I suppose you are off on sunday all day aren't you? Hope you get your package. Hugs & Kisses Mommie & Kiddies
