fairly good, but tires out pretty quickly. I gave her a shampoo & Marcel this morning & she said it felt so much better. Ruthie came yesterday and stayed all afternoon and stayed for supper. She looks fine & has gained 5 lbs. She has been down to see the Dr. & he told her she could go back to work I a couple weeks, but not to do any real hard work, just something light. So I guess that eliminates that. I don't know what I will do when your mother has to go home. We haven't heard anything from Herb since we were there sunday & haven't heard from the folks either. I mailed your box this morning & hope they will be so you can eat it when it arrives. I got my fudge too hard, Your mother made the white candy & I made the date cookies. I couldn't get the chocolate to make the ones like you like. Well darling, I must get for home as it is getting late. Mrs. Sellars washed this morning & I will have to take the clothes down when I get home. Kiddies are fine, Carol & Cliff took their dancing lesson tonight. I think they are improving & John R is doing fine on the piano. He says he is going to take fighting at the Y.M.C.A. so he can learn to defend himself, so he can lick John Pitchke. I am afraid he will have to grow some. Goodnight. All My Love & Kisses Mommie & Kiddies
