down. There is one thing I wish you would do for me dearie, and that is, have a good picture taken of yourself. I am sorry I didn't insist on you doing that while you was here. I had another blow today, a chimney man was working on the next street over & said he noticed our chimney was about ready to fall. I hadn't noticed it, but you could see daylight through it and he said it was very dangerous. He showed me how he could stick the trowel straight through between the bricks at the base of the chimney. So I let him tear it down and he is going to fix it tomorrow I guess. It is going to cost $25.00 Isn't that terrible? There is always something. He said he fixed the other chimney on this house several years ago. Hope I did the right thing. I get so worried and puzzled about those things. How is the pup? I am afraid she might have taken cold out in the wood shed. It is surely too bad. I told the kids about it & they feel pretty badly about it. I am a little scared about Carol's bottom tonight. One of them seems to be infected and is red all out around it. I opened it and put some stuff on it, hoping it will be O.K. by tomorrow. I suppose, if your school is only going to last 10 weeks, I had better just wait until you get through there & then see where you will be sent. I am just hoping & praying, we can go with you this time. Do you know whether you will get your Captaincy after you finish? I sure hope so. Well darling, I must get to bed, as I feel kind of like I am taking a cold too. Goodnight dear Hugs & Kisses Mommie.
