The Judge Advocate General's School Ann Arbor, Michigan Feb. 5, 1943 Dearest Dorothea: Will wonders never cease? I received two more letters from you today-one dated Jan 30th, which had gone to Forrest and had been forwarded on (I think that is the last of those) and one dated Feb. 2nd. So it must take about 2 days for your letters to come through. Yes, it seems like it has been a long, long time since I was there last and still it is less than a month ago. Most of the news in your letter of the 30th, I've already learned from your more recent letters or from our phone calls. How is Dorothy? How is your own cold by this time? And how are Mother and the kids? I'll bet Ruth starts to get better right away- now that she has her teeth pulled and it stops poisoning her system. You will have to be very careful of your foot for some time probably. So take care of it. And you had better just let Wilma work until you get really well again. You might try some of that Dr. Drake's Croup Medicine for the boys' coughs- even if they don't have the croup- it may slacken it up some. My cold is much better- still have some discharge from the nose and cough only very seldom. I seem to be so very hungry all the time. They have good meals and lots of food to a serving, but I guess my tapeworm is just uncurling, or something. So Wilma & Stub are back, are they! What is Stub doing now. I supposed he would have to go to the army unless he was engaged in an essential industry. But maybe he is not physically able since his operation. Yes, you can send me the report of how much you received and I'll work on the income tax report. I guess
