have to worry about it anyhow. I haven't sent in the income tax yet. I think maybe it would be better to send in separate returns. Major Halleck thinks it would save us some money - so I'll wait until I get to Ann Arbor where I can check up on it completely. It isn't due until Mar 15th. Glad Mother is so much better. She will make it OK. It must have been the flu. It isnt too much for her to get lunch for the kids - in fact it is a good thing for her to have something to do to keep her occupied. She will be better is she is doing something, too. I imagine they will give me some leave when the school is over. Anyway, you can drive up when spring comes. It is only about 400 miles. I anticipate a captaincy when I finish school. Must close. Very cold here with sleet on the ground and a cold wind. Loads of love and kisses to all, Daddy.
