We got through with our inspection at 12:15 and walked home and cleaned up for dinner. We have so many officers here now that we have to run two sections of the dining room so the officers in my barracks eat a half hour early and the officers in the other barracks eat 15 minutes early. I've already sent the rent papers and sent you a copy. I don't know what effect it will have but said all I could. They are reducing the rents down here now, but that doesn't make any more places avail-able. The red haired girl is Mary Fitzpatrick. I still think Ruth's trouble all come from absorption of poison into her system from her diseased teeth over a long period of time. I saw where Ted Cline was home. I expect he has lost some weight since he was pretty heavy when he went in. Surely hope the snow goes off up there pretty soon. Tell Mother hello and to take care of her-self. Love & kisses to all. Daddy.
