better and expect she will come along OK if she will try and get stronger and take a tonic to build her up. I'm afraid I can't come home that way and we'll have to plan for you to come up and see me when it gets a little settled and after I get organized at school. The Colonel and I went out to the maneuver area this morning. It wasn't so very cold. The men were fording streams. They were using several means - a cable and draw things across and using emergency rafts made of sticks and boughs wrapped up in canvas and log rafts. We are surely having lots of generals around here observing the 80th Division training processes and the Ranger School. Col Boal & I have to inspect the medical personnel of the enlisted Cadre to check their fitness for such next Sunday morning. At 8:00. I got my ration certificate for a Class III (partially from reclaimed rubber) tire and will try to get the old jaloopie in working order soon. Will try to sell it and if I can't then I'll drive it through. Don't worry about it. Love & kisses to all Daddy P.S. Copy of rent letter enclosed
