Camp Forrest, Tennessee Jan. 20, 1943 Dearest Dorothea: Just received your letter and seems as though you are having plenty to worry. I called up the Veterinary Hospital and Winnie is still alive but very sick yet and no assurance that she is going to make it. Sugar Boal went home yesterday. A very bad day because so cold and raw. I have written the Rent Administration direct and will send you a copy. Well, it is no surprise to me for I think Ruth's tooth must have been the cause of her bad health and unless she gets rid of that poison she will be sick for quite a while. Just do the best you can and don't worry about it and we'll get along somehow. It was nice of Mrs. Sellers to come even if it was expensive. Yes, it was OK to put the bond in the bank box. I didn't get the insurance notice. I don't know what became of the insurance receipt
