for I thought sure I sent it home. Glad mother is better. Here is a letter with reference to the Calhoun family that may interest her. Everything about as usual here. Lots of generals here to observe the Ranger School. Am going to town tonight to get my blouse, which I took in to be cleaned and don't have anything to wear until I get it back. Later: Got your letter about Ruth going to the hospital. Sorry about Carolly Ann. Glad you like the girls in the apmt. Maybe things are going to come along OK after all. Glad Mother is better and think the tonic idea is good. Nice your folks got down to see you. Gladys is having quite a time, isn't she. You had better drink some of the grape juice yourself so you can keep going. I've already written I don't think I can come home on the way over. Honey, I surely do miss you and wish I could see you, too. Maybe it won't be long. Love & kisses, Daddy
