I got your letter with the dog tags and thanks a lot. Also missed the razor sharpener but you might as well just hold it there until I come back. It has looked very gloomy all day today and they anticipate some kind of bad weather but none as yet. I went back to work in the Surgeon's office and helped Lt Bailey - the one who took my place. I guess he is getting along OK. But I think they missed me quite a bit. Lt Jennings went to Carlisle in my place. He wanted to go very badly in the first place. He got married just a few days ago. Lt Meyer - you met him and his wife at the Officers Club - was moved over to Adjutant of the Medical Battalion and he was very happy. I'm glad for him for he is a nice fellow. Winnie is still feeling poorly and seems to be rather paralyzed in the back hips. Hope she come out of it. I'll have to get a haircut now. Bye - Millions of kisses. I'm so glad you have decided not to worry and simply do whatever the situation demands. I don't blame you for feeling bad because I know what you have to do when I'm away. Your Daddy. Regards to Mother.
