Burlington, [Illegible] July 21, 1942 My Dearest:- Just got home from work and am I tired? It is just eleven o'clock. I gave three [permanents?] today besides my other work & didnt get through. I gave Mrs. [Kleinkopf?] one tonight. I was talking to her about your typewriters tonight she says if you want to sell yours, to write to Carl & tell him about them and he thinks he can sell them for you. What about the one, I took down to the typewriter shop to be cleaned? Did you ever get it? She says there is quite a demand for typewriters now. Honey I don't think I am going to get to come this week end now as Wilma is in Ohio and got a card from her, saying she wouldn't be home until Thurs. Now whether she would work a couple of days after that or not, I don't know. I will try it anyway. She can't any more than turn me down. I will send you a wire and tell you whether I am coming or not. If you don't get a wire, you will know I am not coming and will arrange to come later. Will let you know. I got some letters from John R & Gail today. I will enclose them for you to read. He is just having a big time. Carol & Clifford are just fine, but I have been so busy & they sleep so late in the morning that I don't see much of them anymore.
