a place? As soon as the girls get their vacations, I will start getting ready to come. That will be two weeks after this one yet. Nettie is going to take two weeks and Blanche one, and in the meantime Gladys can find an operator I believe. I took the kids and went over to the community picnic this afternoon and stayed until about seven thirty. We had sandwiches, Dr. Pepper and ice cream for supper. They had the Monkey Dog and pony show. The kids enjoyed that. Then they rode on the ponies. John R will hate he missed it I know. I havn't [haven't] heard from him yet. I was with Gladys [illegible] and Betty Fritz. [Illegible] Conrad was really doing the business out there. He told me he got a card from you today. You got some civil service letters in the mail today, so will send them on to you. Don't know just when the Jamison's are leaving, but were all packed up tonight. Their time is up tomorrow. She is going to sell her car and she has six tires, so is going to sell one of them I think. I might try to buy one of them from her. I havn't [haven't] seen the Griesel's since last friday night. I expect they are very busy, now as it has been so hot. Well sweetie I must get some sleep now. Goodluck and Goodnight Hug and kisses Moommie and kiddie
