Was so glad to get your letter, but didn't get it until Sat. [Saturday] nite as it came to the house. Don't send my mail to the house for I don't get it until evening.
Our Mr. Jamison, in the apt. [apartment] got into a mess friday nite. He was in an auto accident and had another woman in the car. I will enclose the clipping. He called here at the house for her at 11:45 and I couldn't get her awake and finally he took a taxi and came out and got her up and she went out with him. He had another woman in the taxi at that time. Can you beat it? I think he is terrible. I don't care if they do move out. They are just trash I think.
Say, daddy do you mean that fatigue suit that is olive drab? Do you want us to send that? I don't know of any thing else you have that is that color. What did you do with receipts for Ruth and the First Ntl. [National] Bank? I had them in that steel file and don't find them anywhere. I pd. [paid] Ruth 25.00 yesterday and will have to pay the bank this week.
They havn't brought the coal yet. They were going to yesterday, but cut the yard down to much and wanted it carried and they didn't have a carrier so didn't get it in.
Ed [Kinjon?] is home. He was at church this morning. I didn't get to talk to him. They got back last nite I guess.
I havn't heard anything from the rent affair yet. I guess they are really going to fight it here, but don't think it will do any good.
I [illegible] bet it is hot there isn't it? What do you think of Tullahoma? I am glad you are going to get the adjutant job. Can you find out anything about how permanent it will be?
