I engaged him to come back again tomorrow morning to help clean the cellar, but Ruthie just now came home & told me she thought they have to operate on her mother again in the morning & if they did, she would have to go down. I don't know, but it seems to me some of the others could do that once in a while. I suppose she will want to bring the kids down to the shop & I don't like the idea of having to worry with them, when I am so very busy. They have never sent me the papers for the rental so far. I suppose they are technically busy. Whit said they would get it to me as soon as possible. John R. went to Fairfield on the bus this morning. It was the big diesel one. I was glad he got to ride not that kind. It cost 53 cents to send him. He sure thought he was some pumpkin. it has been very warm here today after the storm. So sticky. Maybe the rain isn't over yet. It about ruined
