Mt Pleasant Iowa July 15,-1942 Dear Mr Calhoun,-we received your letter and was glad to know you are getting along all right. I seem to have better health now, and work every day but not too hard. Yes, we heard of Mrs Wards serious illness and feel very sorry for her and her family. we do hope your family are well, and are hoping and praying that the war will end soon and you can all be home again. I am sending on a seperate sheet, the dates and amount of each payment. for your convenience later. when it is convenient for you to do so will you please let us know if you receive this letter and kindly send us a receipt for this last-$9.00 payment. just so we can place it with the other receipts, however it is no hurry. Yours Very Truly, Mr and Mrs Joe Fiialkowski 805 East Henry St Mt Pleasant Iowa
