I suppose there is sooner more mail out there now but I had to leave before 8:30 this morning. I will talk to Max about the thing you told me to, and to the telephone + collections affair. I really don't see any [sense?] to keeping the office much longer unless you feel like you might be sent back, for I think this thing will last a long time. Don't you? Sometimes when I think of it, I don't know how I will be able to stand it, but guess I will some way. I do miss you so, when do you suppose you will [illegible] be able to come home again?
The kids + Ruth are all O.K. again. The boys are surely learning fast in school. Clifford is adding numbers now.
Ms [Hemmel?] is in Chicago this week to a [illegible] convention. The hairdresser convention is next month. I suppose I will have to go one [place?] [illegible] another.
Thanks so much for the checks. They will help a lot. I will have Ruth to pay next week, also [illegible] + the bank. I will have some money coming from the apartment too by [illegible], so don't worry, I will make it O.K. It was nice of [illegible] to write you. I got a card from your mother + she is in [Vinita?]
Aunt [illegible] died [Saturday?]. She arrived Sat. on train with Earl. I will enclose her card tomorrow for I forgot to bring it down. My seed hasn't come yet. They had to [illegible] it. Will write more tonite.
