Fri 6:10 PM. My Dearest:- Just a few lines in haste, before I go home. No letter from you today, but know you are busy, and will probably get two tomorrow. I hope so. Mrs. [Driesel?] called this morning + they had a letter from Dom, saying he was in Carlisle visiting you + you were going to Washington D.C. sat. I am glad of it. It will do you good. You have probably been working too hard. Hope you have a good time. I was surely surprised today, when someone came in and said Paul [Philllys?] died. I didn't even know he had been sick, but someone said Paul fell down the stairs at [Jurneu?] Hall when he was leaving for home about twelve o'clock + broke his shoulder
