there is anything to that? do you want me to try to get you out? Mrs. Boeme says she thinks eventually you will be sent across to join the old company. So if we are going to do anything, we had better do it now. Mrs. Boeme who had [illegible; just/faith?] a time, she is living in the country & has a Louisiana license on the car & no Iowa driving license & she said the highway patrol car came out & told her she couldn't drive her car anymore until she got [an?] Iowa license & she told them she couldn't get one until her husband sent her the money. She tried to get a permit & they wouldn't even do that. I am enclosing a letter you got from American [Surety?] Co. I don't understand what it is all about. You also got a letter from Ray [Stoug?] saying you had better settle for $300.00 you will know what that means I suppose. I think the people in the apartment are going to be fine. I like them very much.
