My Dearest (Sunday 5:45pm): I arrived home at just twelve o'clock today & hopped on a bus and came right home. They were just eating dinner, and they were surely glad to see me. John R. had taken the bus & went down to S.S [illegible] by himself. Bless his heart, he didn't want to miss out on getting the pin. He got it too. I think that is doing pretty well don't you? I was pretty tired when I got home. I had the same kind of a bus I had coming up and I just feel like I have been pounded. They had a pretty good bus load all the way. I bought a paper and tried to read it on the way, but it jiggled so much I couldn't. I will go to the news office & ask about mailing you the paper tomorow. I think it would keep you from getting so homesick. I called Dr. Jenkins' today & she answered & so I told her about where you were and what your address was, so he could write
