ps: I did a crazy trick this morn[ing?] [illegible] my [hunny?] [illegible] A. [L?] letter in [this?] [me?] I was making [illegible] a blank check so will [illegible] [illegible] blank check to you & you can mail it [if?] you want to keep it up: it is for [$]4.00 Burlington [Sa?] [illegible; time] pm My dearest: Well another day has gone by & am [I?] glad tomorrow will be sunday. Had a very busy day again & am pretty tired tonight. I gave the kids [illegible] a bath and a shampoo after supper & i didn't get home until almost seven. I took the car down & left it at [Shye's?] garage today & took a 5 gal. can & had him drain the [illegible] out of the radiator. We may not be able to get any next year. I bought a 5 gal. gas can at [illegible] [illegible]. I didn't get to see Ben this morn when I took it as he had gone for parts & was closed when I finished [illegible] so don;t know whether he found me a second had tire or not. I will have to call & find out. I rec'd two more letters from you today. You evident'y hadn't rec'd the letter telling you, we would [come home?] on the 8th & get in there on the 11th. I have made appointments for all that week now & then try & rest up sunday & start real early monday morn. Mrs. Downs brought in her [maps?] today, but I haven't had time to look them over yet at all. She had it all marked with a red crayon. You didn't answer me about whether I should get a card from [Beeker?] so I can buy the gas alon & pay when we get back. I should see about it right away though,
