Won't that be swell?
I guess Ruth is going to stay alone: There is no reason for her to be afraid and there is always someone in the house. She is going hom in the evenings I guess. She said her [illegible] had a tumble + hurt himself + had to phone the doctor for her mother. She got so weak she couldn't talk. The Dr. said she was just run down. I would be afraid for her mind. I feel sorry for Ruth.
Honey I don't remember whether I got your receipt, but I am almost certain I did. I will look + let you know tonight when I write.
Kids are all fine. Grandpa + Grandma [surname? looks like Rainer] came down for dinner yesterday. Poor old dad looked terrible yesterday. His legs are in knots. The kids really had a good time at the park but I am not so young anymore. For I was just exhausted.
Claude called + brought 2 pt. of ice cream + came out + stayed until seven for the bus. He had [illegible] to Franks graduation.
So you think I should try to rent the front. bed room for 1 mo? I thought I might + give them cooking privileges. What do you think about it? Sounds like you are doing swell with your work. Keep it up.
