know that + plan on Thurs nite 11 P. M. I got so sleepy last nite, I just couldn't finish the letter, + thought all day, I would find time to finish it, + couldn't get a second. I am sorry you didn't get your usual letter, but you will forgive me won't you? You don't know how tired I get. Just as soon as I sit down, I go to sleep. I seem to be just exhausted. Get up as tired as when I go to bed. I don't believe life is worth it. I sure will need a vacation, if I can hold out until then. Unless they just kill me off. To hard to kill a food though isn't it? I went to work at eight this morning + finished at ten. Had two spiral permanents and one [illegible] [reschedule?] the other work I did. I gave Mrs. C. C. Clark one. She will be 80 this summer. She is quite a remarkable person. They are going to some Masonic [illegible] at Des Moines. They leave tomorrow. Rosie was in today and made an [appt.?] for her hair next Wed morn. Do you think I should give them a gift? They haven't sent any invitations yet. I wonder if they will?
