I got home on the six o-clock bus and after we ate, the kids & I set the plants out and took stakes & string and made a little fence around the parking out in front. Don't know whether it would help or not, but have been having a hard time to keep people off of it. The grass really looks grand. Makes all the difference in the world in the appearance. I had a very busy day. Gave two permanents & other work. I did a days work before I went to work. Didn't go down until ten o'clock. Ruthie was sick & didn't get up, so had to do her work & mine too. She is better tonite, but stomache still sore. I got my check today for $42.06 & went down to the bank & paid the $25.00 payment & the interest, which made it $81.01 something. I have the old note, which I will send you. I turned the new one in to Mr Daniels. I have the [Buettuer?] bill down to $15.00 paid $15.00 today. I will be glad when that is off. I will wait until you come home to fix the papers for the extra money for Ruth. I thought if we could borrow $100.00 we could scrape up the $30.00 some way. She was going to go down & put the $60.00 in the
