When do you think I should start? I figure it will take us three days. How far is it, do you know? I thought if I would start on either wed or thurs morning then we would get in there friday or sat nite. Which do you think best? Honey when I think of it my heart beats fast. I am so lonesome to see you. We are going to Birmingham early in the morning. John R wants to get there in time to go to sunday school. I gave them all a bath and put them to bed. They are surely getting big. You won't hardly recognize them. We will surely miss you tomorrow. I am taking 3 boxes strawberries + pt of cream. It won't be necessary to bring a 5 gal can then, will it? I am glad for I can use the room. What worries me is the gas rationing after we get there. Do you think you can get enough to take you back + forth to camp? I hope they won't start that here until we get back. The grass on the yard is growing fine. The sun shone today + it has been a beautiful day. [Illegible] rather cool though for middle of May. Enclosed is a [dividend?] check for you are there more coming up right away? Well dearie, I just must get some sleep. Goodnight dear Hugs + kisses Mommie + Kiddies.
