I had a very busy day again. They are realy putting it to me. I see the grain is commencing to come up now. Hope we will get a new stand before long. John, I got notice of two notes Ive & Interest at. First Ntl. Bank. I just don't believe I can make it financially to [illegible] last. I will have to meet those bills immediately. Do you think you could get a little time off between appointments? We are going to Fairfield for Mother's Day. Gladys will meet me there also. I don't know what time I will ge through, but hope to, by six o'clock. Do wish you could be here too. I renewed your subscription for the Gazette. They have soldier rates. 4.00 for one year, so took it for that long. I see by the paper were Maj. McCampbell has been sick in Ireland & has been in hospital for one month. I am so glad your cold is better and you are feeling better. We are all O.K. here, only I am so worn out all the time. I am so nervous most of the time anymore. Guess I am trying to do too much. Honey, I just must get to sleep, so will bring this to a close. Goodnight Affectionately your own Dorothea & [kiddies?]
