three children & myself & then Ruth had to fill out hers seperately. It will only be 1/2 lb. per person a week. That surely isn't very much. I had too [illegible] over so they tore out two stamps. I think it is the [illegible] myself. They are only allowing 5 lbs per person for canning. That won't be a drop in the bucket will it? Kids are just fine & growing like bad weeds. They play so hard & get so tired. Cliffie is eating like a little pig again. What have you done about the income tax? You never answer me. I wish you would get that in for it worries me. I am just tired out tonight. I have nearly every day this week taken with permanents. I suppose it will be like this now until after Decoration Day.. I feel my self slipping though. I just can't take it like I used to. It still stay cool but not quite as cold as last nite. Have a fire all the time yet. I sure hate that. Say honey that lattice work at the back from the alley looks rather bad. I have a notion to take that down. What do you say? Mary Hippe was in today & made an appt. for a permanent on thursday. Say she hears from Al quite often. Well honey, I guess I have answered all the questions so will take a bath & get to bed. Goodnight loads of love & kisses Mommie & kiddies
