610 Prospect Ave El Paso Texas [ c. Dec 27, 1918] W.H. Fox, M. D. Waucoma, Iowa Friday. 2:30 p.m. My Dearest Walter-- Here at last! And such a lovely place as it is. Guess I'll go back to Tue afternoon when I wrote you last and continue. After I finished your letter we had a meal then went up town, as we were stalled right in the town. It was a half to ¾ of a mile trip. Helen & I enjoyed it as the walks were shoveled. I left her in the front of a store while I got a basket & filled it with things for her. We also got dolls & rattles for the other kids in our car. Went back to the train & found our bunk by the aid of my flash light as there was no electricity at all
