Monday 1 p.m. Feb 3. 1919 My dearest Walter How I wish you were here to take care of Helen - She had a stiff neck Friday so I kept her out of school. Sat. She felt fine. Kept her quiet all day - took her down in the Park for about a half hour in the afternoon - yesterday she was around all day but didn't feel very well so about Supper time we called a doctor - He said she had flu & that her temperature was 104.
