no nothing to go to, so how do you expect me to write a letter? Yesterday, I went to church and S. S. as usual, and in the afternoon I went to see Rev. and Mrs. Gifford, then to Mrs. Kents to cheer her up. She is gaining right along. Lois had one of her silent spells last evening, so it was very dull, but after awhile when it was getting rather late who should come but Dr. Freligh. I was rather embarressed, for I had my shoes off. I put them on, but didn't lace them up. After some coaxing we got Lois to play some, after which I got him started to telling me about his travels. He told me about being in Australia, and it was so interesting. It was eleven forty-five when he left. Did you know that Lyle Fitsh is office girl for Dr. Taylor? Dr. Taylor has moved into Dr.Kaufman's office. He and Smittle's women couldn't get along. Smittle has been home for a few days. He says that Taylor moved in the night. I thank you for letting us have The Sat. Evening Post. Are you reading The Yellow Typhoon? And did you read The Life of the Party? If you haven't I'd advise you to. Yes, I'm glad that Lois likes her work. Perhaps she'll be able to get something better after awhile. Mrs.Shipton was down to Elgin, all of last week. Effie was to have "The Circle"
