D. A. R. chapter - met lots of nice ladies there also - I have gotten Helen the cutest little electric stove for her birth day - Can hardly wait to give it to her - She got a box of Tinker Toys from Evelyn & a letter from Mrs Husband today. Keeron McKay's have another little girl. I'll bet they are sore. Guess it is better to adopt one if there is any choice as to kind. I got a letter from Joe Pully yesterday with the darndest list of expenditures on the farm for the past year - our half of the deficit is $92.00. He has the 1917 taxes in that and says the 1918 haven't been paid - I paid him some last spring but don't know what till I get home where I can look it up so think I'll
