[May 13, 1918] Sunday night Dear Bess. I am just back from seeing a fracture case in an auto accident and it is about 10.30. Everybody almost is down town. I do not go down much as there is not much going on except a picture show and they get old. I had a nice letter from your mother a few days ago I would like to visit them some time before I leave here. I saw by the paper that there was quite a cyclone up there but I guess from the papers that you escaped it.
