Hotel Muehlebach Whitmore Hotel Co. Lessee Baltimore Avenue and Twelfth Street Kansas City, Mo. August 8th 1918. Dearest Bess: I believe I am more in love than ever before as I have certainly lost my appetite and sit up here in this hotel thinking of you. I dont believe I ever so hated to leave you as yesterday when we parted. My visit seemed so short that it was over almost as soon as it started. However this work has to be done so I guess I will have only one more day to spend at this and then get to work. I came in here at 7.30 in morning and as I would make just as good time I laid up here until 4.30 this afternoon when I will take the Katty and get into
