It is fairly comfortable here in mornings but gets pretty hot afternoons. I then went down and found out about my baggage. Then I went down town. I have been thinking for some time that we would be soon getting out. I hear it will be any where from 1 week to 3 but guess it will not be much longer. I hope we can go soon as this inaction is awful monotonous. We have about 60 fellows here. I am not so very well acquainted with them yet but will soon. I do not take so long as I did at one time to get aqquainted with the fellows. It does not do to set around as I get awful moody. We are now playing the phonograph furnished here in the building. These pages are so big and as I am writing so often I think I had better close. Do you get tired of me telling you how much I wish you were with me almost as much to Helen. Yours with love Walter
