I went in and visited it was entirely for [illegible] and I did not enjoy myself at all. I think Mrs. Fox that your Denison days are just being reproduced. When ever it gets dull I think of how you were placed and I smile and go on. I received a letter from Miss Glark a nurse in my old ward at Ft. Worth the other day and she is certainly sore at being left behind. I do not blame her either as it must be a fright of a sensation. I also heard from your mother She said Gertrude would be delayed a week in coming home. I suppose she has a card that I wrote to her by this time explaining my moves. I wish we had a little of the rain you are having. It is just as dry as possibly could be. One old fellow living here says that it takes just 2 drops
