talks, most of them are Darn poor speakers. I have taken out $3000 dollars worth of insurance. I would have taken more but i don't think its much good. Today it was very warm, was comfortable in shirt sleeves but tonight it looks cloudy again & the wind is blowing. We have to wash all the windows tonight as tommorrow is barracks inspection and they are really tough, beds have to be made so tight a quarter if thrown on the blanket with bounce. Its a lot of hooey but it must be done. Say mom, if you can will you get me a chain to go around my neck and hold my identification tags. They give you a strip of cotton binding tape & mine is getting very dirty. It should be between 30 in. + 36 inches long. 30 is plenty I think. I can get along if you can't find one, it should have a clasp so I can put the tags on it. We are a motely crew down here farmers machinists, school teachers, insurance men, electricians everything you can think of. In general a darn nice bunch of fellows. We are from Wyoming, California, Iowa, Nebraska, Maryland, Texas, Washington State all over the country. I got a letter this morning addressed to John W. Graham. I opened it but it wasn't mine at all. It was from Arkansas. I couldn't figure out who could be writing me but I opened it anyway it even had money in it. I gave it back to the Corporal. Love, Johnny If you find me a chain send me a small box of washing soap so I can wash my [undies?]
