him the difference or if he took two I've got some coming. I must write to the Hay's hope everything at the farm is going okay. Must write to Wetherbees too I expect they got moved okay. I am slow at writing I guess but my day is rather full. I am bunking beside a fellow named Gabriel from Dubuque who is a relative of the Breckners thru N.J. he doesn't know the family well however. It seems funny how often, no matter how far you are from home you find mutual acquantances. My first day at class went well, I really believe I'll like it. If I pass the course I'll probably be an inspector of an air base. Checking planes after repairs have been made etc, not a grease mechanic. On airplanes parts are replaced when worn rather than fixed, then the parts are sent to an air depot where they are rebuilt. All that's a long way off however I'll have to muscle in and pass the course before anything else happens. I was made ass't group leader of my class we have charge of marching the men to and from chow and classes. It's a rather thankless job you have a non commissioned officers job without their pay and stripes. The responsibility is on you tho if anything goes wrong we're the boys who catch heck. It may help me later on tho.
