I have had two nice letters from you since I wrote last one was almost a magazine and I really enjoyed it, please forgive me if my letters are kind of brief but believe me I am busy. I got a lovely box of candy and card from Mrs. Traiger today about the most delicious candy I've ever eaten. I was very surprised, it makes a fellow feel good when people think of him. I haven't gotten your box yet but am looking forward to it. Have lots of letters to answer. I got Aunt Cora's and answered it. You and Mrs. Thompson cronies why don't you bring her up for P.E.O I looked in a 2nd hand store (one of those dirty ones) for some glass the other day but Texas is just like every other place at last I didn't find any. I'm sorry I couldn't. I must cut this short mother as I've so many to write + the time is so short. I am well + happy. Lots of love Johnny I'm sorry you can't have some of this warm air + sunshine to melt your snow away but it's going to look better up there before long + it won't here
