This evening it looks a little like rain hope it does it settles the dust down for a while. I got a card from Mr and Mrs Phillip Wolfe, it was nice of them to think of me. Got a nice letter from Bob the other day. I tried your candy today mom and its swell, that coconut really makes it good. Thanks mom. I'll write to Mrs Stone right away both boxes came thru in good shape. Lots of the fellows here still have colds but mine is pretty good. Youve sure been having a time of it haven't you. I had a letter from Mrs. Lynch and she said she tried to put a mustard plaster on you. The spring will soon fix you up okay. I got a letter from a fellow who went down to Des Moines with us, he remained there as an interviewer he likes his work. I suppose my letters have an awful sameness about them but this is kind of a monotonous life, not very much newsy to write about. I haven't had to use the stationary you sent me yet as I had just bought some before I got yours. I hope you folks had a very happy Easter and that I may spend one with you before so awfully long. Love, Johnny
