Sunday Eve. Dear Folks: Ive just had a grand day, the very nicest experience since I've left home. After church this morning I was invited out to some peoples home to dinner. Mr. & Mrs W.B. Hamilton 1106. Brook Ave. Witchita Falls.. We were certainly well entertained 8 of us. He owns most of Wichita I think, a fine home, 2 La Salle cars, & station wagon. They certainly have a lovely home, oriental rugs, fine furniture & the works. They have a couple of "Innes" paintings you remember isnt he the painter whose works we saw in that little church in Florida. They have quite a number of fine paintings have them artificially lighted so it brings out their best. He took us riding in one of his Lasalles & another fellow drove the other. Showed us his ranch, saddle horses pure bred white face cattle etc. The town is really nicer than I had that many nice homes, when you can get around and see them. He owns the Hamilton building the biggest building in town. He has several air field properties it was interesting to see his samples & charts & maps & how they will drill for oil etc. Different rack formations & sand which show
