organized and we are waiting for our planes When the other squadron moved out they took their planes and all equipment. I think Ill be on ground maintenance work, I'll probably be too heavy to fly much but will do my work repairing and servicing planes on the ground. As yet I've done very little, hope to get started soon so I dont forget too much I learned in school. Went to church this morning, we have a fine Chaplain a good speaker and regular fellow. Hold service in the past theatre Haven't been to town as there is nothing there of interest. it hasn't grown to speak of since we went thru it three years ago. They aren't issuing any passes right now but when they do the fellows go to Salt Lake City it's 125 miles east and the railroad hauls them for $2.85 round trip that doesn't seem very high. I wont get one and maybe if by chance we come to Sioux City Iowa from here I can get a pass or short furlough. Its to far off to plan an is very strong but if I get within 300 hundred miles of Fayette Co. I'll fut up a very convincing speech you can bet. Had a letter from Uncle Raymond and Milan both last Friday they have certainly been good to write wherever I've been. They are surely working hard and I do hope they have a good season and no hard luck. This is a beautiful day here, the sun
