10 p.m. because of this. Several of the fellows have been getting 24 hr. passes to go to Salt Lake, but I'm going to save mine so if I get closer home I might get a little time off. It costs quite a little to go in and I am going to save the money. I dont know when I'll be paid, when you move around you get all mixed up on the pay I've still plenty of money I would send some home if I knew when I'd get some more. This $50 a month goes a bit farther than $21 but even so it seem to slip away. I have about $10.00 out every month for insurance and bonds, and other army expenses. I have done all my own washing because it is awfully high out here, everything is high priced over in Wendover. Sandwiches are 25¢ ice cream 25¢ factory packed pints etc. I haven't had a letter from you since Aug 6th, but expect one today. Well there is nothing more to say. I feel fine and am getting used to the desert. Box still hasn't arrived. Darn it Love Johnny
