another ship. Then I am off for today till about evening, we work some strange shifts as we are not organized properly yet. Soon we should have definite crews each one working a certain shift.
This morning I had a long visit with a fellow who is in our barracks who lives in Halisfell [illeligble]. That's right on the edge of the Glacier Park you remember. He had a lot of pictures of that country and some of his horses etc. He hunts a lot for big game elk, deer, etc. I like that country up there or a vacation but it's Iowa for me. 
It is beginning to feel fall like out here already. A fellow who lives out here said in three weeks we would want our O.D's on evenings that doesn't seem possible but the nights are surely cool. Just so it doesn't get too cool back home a freeze out here wouldn't hurt anything but it could sure raise cain in Iowa.
I must write to Bob & the Dibbles so will quit. ]
