William plans to go to Ames next year and help is so hard to find, they expect to first run their own place. Her 1500 chickens should surely keep Aunt Ethel busy. We are still busy fixing up our planes. One come in yesterday clear from the east coast. It needed lots of fixing and crews are working day and night. Our combat crews are doing lots of flying and it keeps us busy servicing planes. There's nothing happened to write about so I'll quit. I get paid today get $11.71 the balance due from July at Tucson we get $30.00 partial payment. I should get paid the end of this month for August if I do I think I shall send a little money home because I have too much to carry. Lane
