be nice to have one. The young fellow from [Kalispell?] said he knew quite a few MIllers and that he knew the man in the electric shop. It was a partnership shop Miller and someone else. I hope the fair is a success this year I think it will be. I expect everyone has been kind of holding back from going anywhere and should have one [fling?]. I read in the paper they were putting in some [illegible] sidewalk that will be a great [illegible] around the [illegible]. I'm sorry [illegible] Dick Schroeder is having draft trouble. I thought he was all set and had such a good position lined up perhaps he won't be taken. I had a letter from Bob yesterday he is very busy but doesn't mind the army. It's too bad Vivian and Dickey have to be so far away. We got another ship yesterday it's in good shape for a change most of them that have come in here were pretty badly [illegible] and needed a great deal of repair. It's been good experience tho and I expect I've learned something. I got my shoes back from repair yesterday my others have completely worn out. I was back to the sail with both feet. I'll try and write more tomorrow but there is so little to write about. Love Johnny
