so long or do you mean his son in law. I'm surprised if Vic is home. I am so sorry the [Reagins?] closed their dining room. I know you miss it. The Empress may be pretty good but Im sure Id like the Rex better. So the heifers are doing well Im glad of that I imagine they are a good price I hope he doesn't sell the little Jersey I think she should make a fine cow. She is from [Chensnolds?] stock on her sires side. I guess Anton doesn't like Jerseys so well tho. Did Bill change calves with Dad trade the holstien calf for the red one. [Illegible] wrote me a couple of weeks ago that ours were doing well too. I guess the pastures have been the best in years. I just stopped to get my picture taken in my sheepskin clothes. Gosh they are hot. I had two taken and then one of a group of us. I hope they come out well I'll send you one as quick as they come back. We looked for all the world like a bunch of eskimo's you'd almost expect us to be around an igloo eating frozen fish and whale blubber. Building is going on rapidly here. One hangar is nearly completed and they have started a couple of more. A new theatre is going up, and they are moving in C.L[?]C barracks in pieces and reassembling them here. This surprises me, they usually destroy old equipment and put up new. Ill try to write some more tomorrow. Love Johnny
