getting up at 2 A.M. kind of breaks into an evenings rest. Most every one is asleep now in the barracks but I thought I'd write a little now as it is my only chance. I can't get over our funny meal schedule breakfast 2 AM. dinner 7:30 A.M. supper 1: P.M. it seems like a long jump between supper & breakfast altho it's no longer than usual. We have big signs post on our barracks. Quiet. Men sleeping but it is hard for the different shifts to keep from waking the others. I lost some of my buddies when I moved but they are in close barracks and I know all the fellows that are in this one. It's surprising how many you know in a short time and where they are from etc. Ive run out of anything to say. Love Johnny
