Sept. 13, 1942 Wendover, Utah Dear Dad and Mom: It's a fine day here but it doesn't seem like Sunday. We now work seven days a week so one day is just like the next. I'm sorry not to be able to attend church but I guess its that way. Please excuse the grease marks on the paper I guess my hands were none too clean when I started but I should have it all rubbed off pretty soon. This paper was all they had at the P.X., when I bought it I thought it was this size didnt know it was folded. Got a letter from you + one from the Hays yesterday everything seems to be going okay. They sent me a picture of the baby it is better looking than it was. I've had a good visit this afternoon with the fellow who sleeps right under me. I'm in an upper bunk since I moved
