Sept. 17, 1942 Wendover, Utah Dear Dad & Mom, I was looking thru a new Life magazine Sept 14, and noticed these pictures I am enclosing. You probably saw them but I thought they might be interesting because they are the kind our squadron has. If you see one fly over you can recognize it from the diagrahms. Just finished calesthenics, had them this morning a 9 A.M. Got to bed at 5 A.M. and now can go back to bed again. We aren't fed now until 6 PM. as we aren't [supposed?] to to to bed until 10 AM and get up at 6 PM. It just doesn't work tho everyone is tired when they get in at 4 A.M. and go to bed then. We weren't busy last night just serviced one plane and did some control adjustments on another. One of our ships has been flying from 20 to 22 hours every day. That just leaves time for
