service and check overs. Got your letter of Sept/ 14, last night cant kick on the mail service I've been getting lately. Enjoyed all the clippings Boy how I wish I could send you our daytimes out here to ripen the corn, it would surely hustle it along and we have only had the one rain + a sprinkle since Ive been here. I suppose you'll be buying gas from Fred Ganske again now. He is handling good products but it will be funny not to get 66 from him. So Dane doesn't like Florida I could tell him about lots worse places if he thinks thats bad down there. Altho I agree with him about the town. So Dad is still going to Rotary, do they eat all around at the different restaurants? I'm glad he didn't quit as he enjoys it. I'll bet Bob H. will make a good pilot, it takes lots of hard work to get those wings its nice his folks can be there for the ceremony. Harry [S.?] is surely lucky to have another furlough coming up so soon no one from out here has had one except in the case of emergencys
