(3) he surely painted a glowing picture of how Iowa looked, grass in pastures the best he had ever seen, corn grand, smell of new cut alfalfa + trees + lawns. He said he almost didn't come back. Planned to go to the show this afternoon but it was one I had seen, they havent been very good the past week or ten days and I havent gone. The show at all ours of the day so that each shift can see them I just went over to supply and got a new pair of coveralls. I'm pretty well fixed now for clothes. I'll have to put my Iowa sign on my back, thats a sure way to find out if another guy is from there. The only pair I had were blue and we arent supposed to wear that kind, I still haven't gotten the fatigue pants I salvaged but can get along okay. This is all for today Love Johnny
